Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge (Q Bridge) – Extradosed Stay Cable Bridge

The Q-Bridge Form Travelers are one of a kind and challenged our crew of Engineers to create the impossible. SDI fabricated and designed travelers that incorporate 4 main rails (typically 2) which support the ability to form a total of 5 cells. SDI supplied CONNDOT with 4 travelers, the stay cables to support the superstructure, and the PT for this masterpiece. It is an elegantly designed bridge with a complicated framework. The bridge has just opened its lanes to northbound traffic and is planned for full completion of the southbound lanes in 2016.
